Dr. Saleh J. Malaikah

RUSD Investment Bank Inc. Chairman, Dr. Saleh J. Malaikah was recognized in 1997 as the Dealmaker of the Year at the Islamic Banking & Finance Forum, and thereafter in 1998, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Islamic Banking & Finance Symposium.

Formerly the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Albaraka Investment and Development Company, a financial services arm of globally-renowned Dallah Albaraka Group, Dr. Malaikah obtained his Ph.D. specializing in Finance & Investment, after graduating with a B.Sc. {Eng.} and an MBA. Today, he is Chairman of both an Insurance and re-Insurance group of companies, and Chairman of a group of leasing companies.

Dr. Malaikah is also a previous member on the Board of Trustees of the Accounting & Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions, and the National Investment Committee of the Association of Saudi Chambers of Commerce. He currently serves on the Investment Committee for the Society of the Gifted which is headed by His Majesty, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Dr. Malaikah is a well-known speaker in Finance, Banking, Investment and Islamic Economics. He is also on the Board of several financial institutions.

Naseeruddin Ahmad Khan
Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer

As the Chief Executive Officer of RUSD Investment Bank Inc., Naseeruddin Ahmad Khan comes as a Certified Management Accountant and a Member of the Society of Management Accountants, Canada, and armed with an MBA.

With four-decades of working experience in various international organizations and more than 30 years in dealing with the Middle Eastern financial markets, Naseeruddin Ahmad Khan has an influential role in the development of modern day Islamic Banking and Finance.

During his career, he has had the unique opportunity to not only witness, but play a major role in the development of modern day Islamic Banking and Finance. For the last 25 years, he served in senior managerial positions with leasing Islamic financial conglomerates in the Middle East.

As a result of his acumen and expertise, Naseeruddin Ahmad Khan served as a Board Member on various International Islamic Investment Funds. He also holds directorships at Al Awwal Financial Services, Saudi Arabia and the Safina Fund, Malaysia.

Naseeruddin Ahmad Khan has also been invited as a frequent speaker at high profile events arranged by various international organizations and institutes worldwide.

Hussain Hassan Biyari
Director

Hussain Hassan Biyari brings to RUSD a wealth of technical accumen, experience and knowledge. He began his professional career as a Planning Engineer with the Ministry of Transportation in 1985. Hussain also served as Director of Conference for international organisations as well as a Director of Transportation Perpetration in the Western region. In 1990, he was the Deputy Director-General of the Sharif Group for trading and contracting. In 1993, he took on the post of Project Manager for the Abdul Latif Jameel Real Estate Investment Limited before emerging as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Firdous Hotels Group.

Today, Hussain is also a member of the Board and General Manager of the Tahaluf Al-Masaa Real State development, an Executive Board member of the SALAMA Insurance Company, a Board member of the Ruwais International Development Company as well as the (Tahaluf Al-Ruwais) Company.

Hussain graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Urban Planning in 1985 from the
College of Environmental Design - King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

Adding to his credentials, Hussain is also a Planning Adviser from the Saudi Council of Engineers.
