RUSD Investment Bank Inc. Chairman, Dr. Saleh J. Malaikah was recognized in 1997 as the Dealmaker of the Year at the Islamic Banking & Finance Forum, and thereafter in 1998, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Islamic Banking & Finance Symposium.

Formerly the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Albaraka Investment and Development Company, a financial services arm of globally-renowned Dallah Albaraka Group, Dr. Malaikah obtained his Ph.D. specializing in Finance & Investment, after graduating with a B.Sc. {Eng.} and an MBA. Today, he is Chairman of both an Insurance and re-Insurance group of companies, and Chairman of a group of leasing companies.

Dr. Malaikah is also a previous member on the Board of Trustees of the Accounting & Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions, and the National Investment Committee of the Association of Saudi Chambers of Commerce. He currently serves on the Investment Committee for the Society of the Gifted which is headed by His Majesty, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. 

Dr. Malaikah is a well-known speaker in Finance, Banking, Investment and Islamic Economics. He is also on the Board of several financial institutions.

Rizwan Razzak

Rizwan Razzak has more than ten years post qualification experience in consulting, advisory and corporate compliance, as well as exposure in management of Accounts & Operations of reputed asset management and investment advisory companies. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.

Sohail Nawaz Awan 
Assistant Vice President, Investment Banking

Sohail Nawaz Awan holds an MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences, Lahore. He is highly experienced in various investment banking activities including but not limited to, term finance, working capital finance and syndications, trade financing, securitisations, capital restructuring and product development. In addition, Mr. Awan also has a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Honours.

Tariq S. Asghar 
Legal Advisor

Tariq S. Asghar has the distinction of being one of the finest legal advisers in the Middle East financial fraternity. His wealth of knowledge and technical acumen is seen in his specialisation in designing Islamic financial instruments. As a Legal Advisor at RUSD Bank, Tariq S. Asghar is responsible for the documentation of all transactions including taking charge of other legal matters for the bank. He holds an LL.M. from the University of London and has spent almost 30 years as a lawyer in the banking sector.

Abdul Quddus Tajammul

Abdul Quddus is highly experienced in industry and management consulting, project management procedures, training and performance requirement, capable strategy formulation relating to financial advisory services, facilitate effective performance of business process improvements in the areas of financial transformation, cost reduction and information project management and thorough understanding of implementation issues gained through extensive experience in various capabilities.

Abdul Quddus is a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. Completed 5 months training of “Advance Project Finance” of Wall Street, USA in 2007 and passed CME-1 and CME-2 examination of “Capital Market Authority” in 2012-2014, Saudi Arabia. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree
